The London born winger spoke more about his parent club when he went onto compare his current manager Julian Nagelsmann to his former boss Arsène Wenger. Nelson said: “They give youth a chance like Arsenal do, bringing young talents through like Jack Wilshere. It’s the same with the boss here. He gives opportunities to young players and he has belief in them.”

Nelson is in a recent splurge of young English talent that has made a move away from the Premier League to gain regular football to help develop. His best friend Jadon Sancho is the other most notable player to leave the Premier League in a bid to gain more minutes. Nelson is currently on a one year loan deal away from the Gunners and is due to return to the Emirates at the end of the 2018/19 season.
