Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign George Lewis from Norweigan third division side Fram Larvik.
Jostein Jensen who is the sports director of Fram Larvik confirmed the information. He said: “Yes, we can confirm that. I have been told that he has signed for Arsenal.”
Player agent Cheikh Diaw also added: “He’s ready for Arsenal, yes. The club has not made it official yet, but he has signed for the club. They are really looking forward to getting over George, who they see as an exciting player.”
Lewis began his career in the youth ranks of Tromso IL. He plays predominantly as a left winger and was born in Kigali, the capital of Rwanda. He will begin by joining up with the under 23’s side.
