Ray Parlour backs Arsenal win v Man Utd with four Gunners tipped to shine

Ray Parlour “can’t see anything but an Arsenal win” when Mikel Arteta’s side face off against Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Gunners take on the Red Devils on Sunday afternoon, more than 24 hours after title rivals Manchester City’s 4-0 win against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Arsenal will go in to the match at Old Trafford two points behind Pep Guardiola’s men, with the same games played.

A win would ensure the title race goes down to the final day of the season, when the Citizens host West Ham United in David Moyes’ last game in charge and Arsenal welcome Everton.

Speaking exclusively to TheAFCNewsroom on behalf of NetBet Sports Betting, Arsenal legend Parlour admits that “form goes out the window” whenever his old side take on Man United but insists Arteta must set up his side to “play on the front foot”.

“Form goes out the window when it’s Man Utd v Arsenal; it’s still a massive rivalry and Arsenal need to be fully focused and full of energy to win at Old Trafford,” Parlour said when asked what advice he would give to the current team before the match.

“The team need to be single-minded in their approach and go in with no fear at all.

“Arsenal are in excellent form and must play on the front foot, the same way they have been all season. There is absolutely nothing to fear for this team; we have the best defence and scoring the most goals and creating many chances.

“[Bukayo] Saka, [Kai] Havertz, [Leandro] Trossard are all in good form; [Declan] Rice is on top form and defensively we’re not giving up chances. I can’t see anything but an Arsenal win on Sunday.”
