18-year-old Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli is likely to miss the start of the 2020/21 season following his call up to the Brazillian national team for the 2020 Olympics in Japan.

Brazil are tournement favourites for the gold medal and should Andre Jardine’s side fulfil expectation it will leave the youngster out of Mikel Arteta’s plans for at least a month after the season starts due to the finising time of the games on August 9th.
The former Ituano striker has been influential in his debut season for the gunners bagging 10 goals and two assists. It will be a huge set back going into the new campaign.
